In response to the medical market requiring reliable high wattage power supplies, MEAN WELL further introduced the 450W AC/DC medical enclosed type power supply~MSP-450 series.

Along with the launched products of MSP-100 (100W), MSP-200 (200W), and MSP-300 (300W), MEAN WELL currently offers a MSP series ranging from 100W to 450W diversified wattages for users’ selections. The MSP-450 series available at CDI comply with international medical safety regulations (MOOP level) and EMI Class B level.The MSP-450 series features low leakage current (≦300μA at 264VAC) and can fulfill the high quality demands of medical applications. This series is a good power solution for non-patient contact medical applications. The MSP-450 series features 85~264VAC universal AC input, provides 3.3V~48V output voltage options, and possesses up to 89.5% of high efficiency. It can be forced air cooled by a built-in DC fan at -40℃~+70℃ ambient temperature. The MSP-450 units also feature no load power consumption <0.6W and they can be used in all kinds of “green mode” medical equipment or electric devices as well as fulfill the energy-saving requirements for end systems.Other standard functions include protections for short circuit, overload (constant current mode), over voltage, over temperature, 300VAC input surge immunity for 5 seconds, built-in remote ON/OFF control, built-in remote sense, and DC OK signal output. In addition, the MSP-450 series comply with global medical certificates per UL/ CUL/ CB/ CE that ensure users’ safety.
